No, it's a Windows program so download it to and run it on your PC.

Hi there, I've tried the 8 step procedure and can't seem to get past step 5 : Step 5: Wait a few seconds, the ODIN screen will show that a device is now connected
    – Make sure that in ODIN nothing is checked, except the “Auto reboot” and “F. Reset Time” checkboxes.
    – Press the “PDA” button, and select the “XWKDD_insecure.tar” file.
    – Press “Start”. ODIN will now flash the kernel, and the device should reboot.

(the ODIN on my computer doesn't flash, do i need to download kernel or did I do something wrong on the reboot? I press the PDA and selected the XWKDD_insecure.tar with no result, it said I succeeded 0/0 failed

    any ideas?

Yes, you need to d/l the kernel package seperately.

The reference to "XWKDD_insecure.tar" is outdated afaik. Go to this thread, scroll down to post #3 and d/l the CF-Root package that matches your current firmware (shown in Settings/About phone/Build number). Extract the .tar file from this archive and flash it via Odin as described.
