I spammed the build number and nothing happened.. Any ideas? I need debugging so I can use this damn phone haha
I've literally sat there and tapped it for five minutes straight. Pretty sure Verizon disabled that feature. You tap the build number at least seven times in a row, until it prompts to ask you if you want to become "a developer".
I can also guarantee you that tapping the build number is doing nothing for me.. And no, it's not already enabled.
It means I sat there and tapped on the build number for five minutes and nothing happened.Spammed the build number??? What does that mean? I honestly don't know![]()
Ah, lol, got it!It means I sat there and tapped on the build number for five minutes and nothing happened.
Nope, not modified at all. It's been wiped and I just can't get around the FRP. Otherwise it seems fine.. Just can't get passed the setup wizard.By the way, not sure why it wouldn't let you enable the developer mode option after hammering the build number.
Is the device rooted, or modified in any way?
Hmm, thinking here.......perhaps a simple reboot and try it again? Maybe you tried that already
Is the phone operational with no issues otherwise?
Does it prompt you for your google and email password? Was this your device before or someone else's device?Nope, not modified at all. It's been wiped and I just can't get around the FRP. Otherwise it seems fine.. Just can't get passed the setup wizard.
Yeah, needs the previous owner's login. It's been sitting at my friend's place and he doesn't remember where it came from.. And I needed a new phone, but got this instead haha.Does it prompt you for your google and email password? Was this your device before or someone else's device?
I see. Well, the FRP is sure a stickler to get around without the original owners info. There have been things posted here and there around the net on how to get around that, but haven't seen one that works. Sorry, but since Google implemented the FRP security measure, you may be out of luckYeah, needs the previous owner's login. Makes buying used phones a bit of a pain in the ass if people don't remember to do that then.. I guess that explains why developer mode is disabled then.I see. I would surmise the original owner did not remove his/her google account before resetting the device, hence the issue you are having:

It was a long time ago when I did it.
I remember that it was THE most difficult thing to do on the Turbo.
I kept not activating it. It came down to varying the cadence that I did the tapping. I tried this. I tried that. Finally I happened onto the one that worked.

Ah you see it's a test to find out who are the true developers. You passed
