I couldn't see any indication that Flash 10.1 was on my phone after updating using the latest RUU (S-off and rerooted). So I downloaded the APK and tried to install it, and the OS thinks it's there, but will permit neither launching nor uninstalling.

I'm sure there might be other info needed, but I would greatly appreciate if someone might have some thoughts about how to resolve this.

    Thanks!!

With the RUU, the Flash is already implemented in it. You cannot launch it by yourself, all you can do is by going to a flash site, and test it out.

If you have "uninstaller", you should be able to see it.

Flash is already installed with 2.2, No need to install an APK.

Okay, Any suggestions for a quick simple site with which to test? I tried to launch what I thought was a video on ESPN, and it didn't work.

Continuing dumb questions (feel free to be sarcastic, if you wish): when I go to YouTube and click on a video, I get a blank area with an arrow in it where the video should be. When I click on that arrow, the video begins. Is that the expected behavior?

Madcat, m.flash.com is a perfect site to test.

I discovered that going to menu>settings and scrolling to the "Enable plugins" setting, and changing that to "Always on" allows flash elements to play automatically.

    Thanks all!
