I'm trying to boot up the galaxohero rom,
I indeed successfully restore the gapps before, but now, it didn't work anymore.

I'm using the recovery 4.2 image and i'm sure i have done everything as the how to odin guide said, but it still couldn't restore the g.apps, the restore was aborted after a few sec. I have even formatted the storage card and start again. For my successful attempt, i use the old methods with a g.apps directory, but now i'm using II5.tar to restore, and it didn't work anymore ...

so can anyone can help on this? thx.. :(

Have you tried reflashing the phone back to original II5, and starting the whole process all over again (install recovery, wipe, apply update, restore g.apps)?

now i can restore the g.apps, but it's weird the new one didn't work.

Do you think it may have something to do with different hardware revisions (if any?) of our devices?

BTW, you guys may want to report you problem to the folk who's making those recovery images at hdblog.it: http://forum.hdblog.it/showthread.php?p=19417
