Whenever I try to root the phone. I click the root.bat and then it tells me that adb isn't a recognized command. I need help figuring out how to root my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to extract the contents of the zip to a folder, open up the extracted folder in a terminal, and then run it by typing the file name. Depends on your Os. Refer to the all things root guide for terminology and instructions.

Bottom line don't double click the zip file. All of the files have to be extracted to the same folder

I will try that. Thank you very much.

right click on the zip file and select extract all then press the extract button this will create a folder in the same directory as the original zip file with the same name, open that and double click root.bat
