Root I can't turn off my phone! D:

    I don't even know what I did, but now when I hold down the power button there is no menu to turn off, enable data, go to download mode etc...o_O
    I can turn off the screen but still no menu. How the heck did it just disapear??
    Btw Im using serendipity Rom.

    Edit: Problem sovled. Learned my lesson. Backup right after a fresh install.

    No tried that. I had to factory reset, but when the issue did happen I made a backup with titanium backup. And I guess soemthing was corrupted cause when i restored the files my phone had the same issue right after. Pretty much I think I lost all my apps =S cause that backup is corrupt.

    lucky me! I found this and saw that you said to try pulling the battery. I did that after uninstalling some live wallpapers that weren't in a package. The menu option came back, as well as the screen unlock function, and the ability to see a back round other than a live one. Thanks! btw...I'm using Serendipity VII Build 2 Kernel #4.1.:D
