ok so when i originally put my name on the list for reserved evos at the sprint store the guy told me the price was 214 before mail in rebate after that. he also gave me 10% off monthly and free activation. he even wrote it all down for me.

luckily i brought that slip in today with me when they told me it was 299 before the rebate. so i showed him the slip and showed him my school id and he gave me the 25% off monthly and free activation for the inconvenience. now thats a deal, am i right?

with that being said i instantly said ill pay $7 more a month for insurance. lucky me :)

You got 25% off for being a student? I only got 15% off for being a student.

Anyone can get the %27 off employee discount just by asking for it.

no i got 15% for the student discount and an extra 10% for the hassle, as well as free activation. not too shabby imo.

and idk about the 27% off. can you get 27% + 15% if your a student and an employee haha?

I too received a 25% "student" discount, but I just called into Sprint and gave them my school email address after I left BB. What's this about a 27% employee discount? I keep reading about it but no one actually elaborates as to what exactly you're supposed to say to get it?

Hah! I got a 25% discount as an employee of a company I don't work for. Check out this post for details. That's way better than the 13% discount I could get with the company that I've worked for for the last 17 years. The discount applies only to the basic plan and not the 10% surcharge for 4G service but still it's a helluva deal.

Just go to the store and ask for it, they gave it to me without even asking, cool!
