    Hi Kids.

This migh amuse the anti-appleites out there. I saw this on my YouTube recommendations. No I'm NOT subscribed to an iphone channel. LOL

This kid was going on how fantastic this customisation set up is, and towards the end he starts going on about these settings switches/toggles.

    And it dawned on me.....

Our 'droids can ALREADY do these things without any fancu mods or hacks. Just simple apps.

even more reason why I hate Apple, and am all about the 'droid.

    Andy.

Clever that it still turns off even though you're interacting with it.

Wow! You can choose different icons and move them around the homescreen! And toggles to turn things on and off! I'm VERY impressed, if only my Desire could do that.......

Is that the maximum extent the iPhone can be customized? I always assumed that with lots of modding and a good custom ROM they'd be able to really approach Android's possibilities.

I had the switches on my old iPhone and the best thing about them was they were automatic.

They would switch themselves into Airplane mode on there own, Oh how I miss that functionality on my Desire......lol

They can....they just have to install android on it. Which, by the looks of how easily impressed that guy is, would blow their iminds. :p

Watching the video just makes me pity my friends who use the iPhone.
iPhone customizing potentials are just pathetic. I bet iPhone users can't even imagine what its like to toggle settings directly from the home screen.

i got bored of how long he took on just the lock screen.
he was so impressed with himself for installing an app that changes lock behaviour.

Kind of funny that customizing the lockscreen to that extent is such a big deal on iOs. I especially laughed when he pointed out the icons for alerts. As if every phone from the last 5 years doesn't have that.

The video is 2009 though. Surely they can do more than that now?

Not sure what this has to do with the Desire?

    Moved to the appropriate section.

The reason it was posted in the Desire forums was cause thats the phone I have, and as a result, thats really the only forum I visit here.

As Aleksandr the Meerkat would say........simples.
