OK...went through the update ... why is it stuck on the eyeball with two red dots to the right after restart?
OK ... that cleared, went to lock screen, unlocked and stuck at white HTC screen. Is this normal?

woke up this morning to no froyo. got to work and decided to check for system updates, well it was downloading my froyo. installing now and stuck on the eyeball. gonna let it sit and get past it. now i am going to see if my boss got it and walk him through it.

You don't "do" anything. You will get a message on your phone that it's available. You then follow the directions on the phone and it will download and install automatically. Just be patient during the install. It can take 10+ minutes.

Woke up in 5 a.m. in the boonies of VA to the update pop-up. Yay!!!!! No issues to report thus far. Wondering if I should factory reset to get rid of the HTC Mail client saying 101MB though... I'll see how it goes for a couple of days. Does factory send it back to a clean 2.2 or 2.1??? Thanks in advance.
