I installed cyranogen 6 and now my phone says my network is Sprint. Is this a problem

I have a sprint style cdma hero through MTS up here in Canada. I just installed cyranogenmod 6.0 and everything works great. Only concern I have is that in the top right hand of the lockscreen it says "sprint". It also says my network is Sprint when I look it up in settings although my prl hasnt changed. Should I be worried

as long as you can make calls, receive texts and go online, there shouldnt be a problem. Its just a label.
