    Hi there,

I'm working on my first proper app, basically I have a series of buttons at the bottom of the screen and a View above it (I assume this, as the base class, is the best type). I want each of the buttons to launch a seperate, (child?) activity within this View. I've tried everything, and so far come up with nothing. Have no problem launching a new activity, but don't want it to open a seperate window. Could anyone tell me the simplest way to do this?

    Many thanks in advance!

This one is straight out of the box what you want:

    Tab Layout

Or you could use this, if you want to make your own buttons:

    ActivityGroup

We already had a bugger with TabActivity but I think activitygroup is probably what we're after, I'll see what can be done today,

Thanks so much for the help,

    Nick
