My speaker blew out sometime today so I'm getting a replacement sent out. All I need to do is root and a nand restore from my sd card and I should be right back to where I'm at now in minutes right? Or do I need to run titanium to get my apps back?

I'm on recovery 2.0.2.4. Should I run unrevoked 3 reflash on my current phone first and then save a nandroid backup or will my current backup work with 2.5.0.1?

I haven't got the foggiest. It was working this morning when I was in the shower. Then at work I noticed the ringer was sounding kinda funny. Tried to play some music and WTF is this? Sounds common from a lot of the posts I've read. Too common.
