although i admit, i got caught up in the hype and was hoping to be blown away with a crazy sci-fi inspired sleek device. after looking at it for a while...i like it.

if someone needs a phone to match their purse....then get a one x or iphone. :D

this seems like a nice standard design. i really like the blue one.

but unfortunately to many, a "nice standard design" will equal boring.

No edge to edge screen..shame. think I'll keep my note.

An edge to edge screen would cause way too many input errors.

I think it looks ok. Would prefer a black version though.

Looks wise it's better than SGS2 to me. I like curvy design like Gnex.

Yep, tired of squares. I.e. my DX.

I'm also fan of curvy/rounded design, so I am fine with external design of GSIII.
I should admit HTC did better job on the back cover design of One X. But how it looks on the back is probably the last thing I care about in phone.

Especially if you're going to put it in a case.

I have to confess, I prefer the squarer design of the SGS2/iPhone etc to a curvy phone but I don't think the aesthetics will stop me buying one.

I also would have preferred a black version and a non glossy back.
For the rest it looks ok and I'm happy that they didn't drop the microsd slot.

I think a black version would nice, but I do like the blue one. I think the phone looks nice just the way it is.

    It looks just fine.

I do prefer the more squared look of the S2 though.

I am not sure if I like it or if everything else on Verizon makes it look good.

Most likely the U.S. carriers will change the look like they did with the S2

I disagree. I think sensitivity/awareness of fingers on the edge could be reduced via software then brought alive as a predictive action. I'd have paid

I'd be amazed if Samsung didn't bring out some alternative colours, whether they become "limited edition" or Carrier specific I wouldn't like to speculate.
  19. My sister changed her SGS2 from black to white for free.

I think it's very likely that Samsung will be making other color versions. Then we would be able to exchange it.

I'd probably get the blue one first. People say that it has a black feel to it, rather than blue.

I love a naked phone. I do want it to slide in and out of my pocket easily. Funny how the majority of the iPhones "I" see have huge bulky cases. OOooo the iPhone is the best looking phone. Let me put a bulk case on it.
I have nothing aginst cases. I used to use them, but they change the phone 100%. So if the SIII is the best, but fugly, then put a case on it. I"m glad to see a different phone.

Maybe. But $300 better looking than my S2? Not.
