Help I need help deactivating my phone.

My phone just kicked the bucket today.

In lieu of buying a new phone, I'd like to use the one my wife no longer uses. Her and I both bought Galaxy Precedent phones on a Straight Talk plan. She got sick of hers pretty quick and went to an iPhone.

My phone does have some wear and tear. It shouldn't have died (I've only had it a few months) but I have this perfectly good, almost new phone that I'd like to use. Its the exact same phone that my wife no longer uses.

I tried to "activate" the phone online, but straighttalk.com says that the phone is already activated or associated with someone else's account. I believe it would need to be deactivated.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
