Root I need help please!

Well i downloaded [ROM+Kernel] ~*~ Bumblebee 2.4 ~*~ (6/25/2011) - xda-developers and still nothing so I give up. My phone will not take a rom for the love of god

That is a outdated ROM and the most current ROMs for the OV are on Android Central.

Look in the All Things Root Guide for ROM's. The old Bumblebee ROM you where trying to install would have given you a black screen if you have a Hitachi screen.
Read through the guides to get an idea of what you can and can't do.
As far as ROM's, kernels, etc., if there are any that aren't in there, then let me know (along with a link to the dev's site for the ROM) and I'll try to get it in the Guide. The ATR Guide should be all members one stop place for all things rooted V. If it isn't let me know (with a link to the dev's site).

Can someone show me give me a rom to get my phone running again cuz as of now its iterated the f*** outa me cuz It just keeps going to recovery...

Your in a recovery loop. Pull battery, pull SD card. Put the SD card into the PC. Download the BACKside ROM and Gapps and put onto the root of SD card (not in any folder, just near the bottom of the folders). This has all the info and links you need to get you out of the recovery loop.

Then go here http://androidforums.com/optimus-v-...tory-reset-your-rooted-phone.html#post3263770 and start with step #7. This will get the ROM and Gapps installed. This is just another post within the thread that has the info to install the ROM and Gapps.

If you have the stock recovery try applying the update.zip.
