When I remove someone from my favorites they are not in my 'people' Category... Where do they go and how do i bring them back?

Go to gmail.com on a computer, and go to "Contacts" They are probably under "All Contacts" just move them to "My Contacts" and they will reappear on your phone the next time it updates.
