I've had this phone since October 28th and I love it more than I did when I first got it! I've never used a phone as much as I've used the GN2. What about you? Are you still in love or is the honeymoon over?
I can't put mine down for long either. I've only had it for two days. I do admit that I don't use the stylus much at all. Maybe I'll find use for it later on.
Had mine for a month and still lovin' it!!! At work I spend more time using it instead of laptop (put a bunch of documents on it, and use it a lot for email communication). At home, use it more to watch movies and tv (otg cable with sandisk cruzer fit usb knob to watch movies, and local cable free app to watch my cablebox). Occasional games, periodic web browsing, etc. Can't put it down (drives my wife crazy). Oh, with a stylus - haven't used it much, mostly to show off in front of friends. Actually, on a few occasions out with a family, I played tic-tac-toe with my daughter using s-pen while we are waiting for food. That turns a lot of heads from nearby people
I think this goes for 99.9% of the people who has owned the GN2. Compared to my old phone, it's a step up in the right direction.
Im still in love with it ..... I have had it for about a month now and my god this phone lasts me all day with a single charge now and I use it when im on my break at work and watch youtube and play around with my photos for instagram
I was awestruck at the time when I got my first smartphone, a Droid X back in Nov of 2010, and it might as well be a feature phone in comparison to this bad boy. And even my beloved Note 1 doesn't hold a candle to this screen real estate quad powered monster!
Had mine over 2 months now and I still love it as much as the day I bought it. Started to look at the capabilities of the S note app with the S pen and its massive, lots more to do than I originally thought. What a phone!
I've had mine for about 3 weeks now, and I'm not quite loving it yet, but I still have a lot to learn, and I imagine I'll become more fond of it as time goes on. But at the moment Android frustrates the hell out of me, and I find I turn to my laptop to do just about any task more complicated than playing Angry Birds or asking a quick question with Google Voice Search. Where my last tablet felt much more capable as a laptop replacement. I expect that to change as I continue to customize and Root to get the functionality that I want, but that will probably take a couple more months of experimenting.
O yeah this thing is just amazing once you get a note it spoils you no phone can match the power features and battery life as the Note can. Ive had the 2 for almost three months and every time I pick it up a smile come on. I also have a DNA at the moment also but the note is still wayyyy better. I actually use my note a a note book replacement for school I can go a whole semester and the only paper I use/have and the ones my professors give me.
I've had mine for a little over a month now and love it! The more I use it the more I seem to like it. I'm always trying to find new uses for it and try to use it to its full potential.
2 months now and I will never go back to iPhone. I also love the S-Pen. Do nothing on the phone without it and my Note II remains fingerprint free.
I Still love it ..got it Nov 30th!!! and my left hand hurts from holding it too long! here's my old iphone4 and my new baby!!!! LOL 20121205_172300 copy by Ceva321, on Flickr
Oh yeah!!! My Note 2 and I are still in that honeymoon stage. It's opened up a whole new world to me. Such freedom. I've only had it since before Christmas and I'm confident things are only going to get better with the anticipation of Jelly Bean update and multi window when they come to Canada. Cheers to all.
Every phone I've chosen from Android has been a significant step up from my previous phone. I wasn't actually worried about 1 month down the line or even 2 months down the line. What I'm more curious to see, is how will I feel 20 months down the line (2 months have passed already), when I'll be eligible for my next upgrade. I managed to hold out until the Sprint Note 2 was available at Best Buy on 11/11, even though I was upgrade eligible 4 months prior, but that was my final Gold Premiere upgrade, before my account changed to the new 22 month policy. I'm sure I'll last at least that long, as I loved the Photon up until the moment that Motorola officially announced that it won't be updating it to ICS, but my hope is that I'll feel the same way now as I do 2 years down the line.
Good point. I've never had a phone more than a year and only a few fell into that category (the OG T-Mobile G1 and the OG EVO.) I would like to keep and love a phone for 2 years. I'm hoping the GN2 is the one that will finally make me do that.
I have it for 1 month, it is very gooooooood phone but I had a small problem when I play high graphic game such as NFS or Asphalt 7 the upper part of the screen became hot any body face this issue? please, answer me
Just started to like mine less as soon as they announced Xperia Z yesterday. Holy cow that phone is awesome! Battery doesn't look so great for it though. Wish my note 2 was water resistant and had a 1080p display though.
I'm getting that effect with various games or multi-tasking the device. I'd call it "warmth" rather than "hot," though. I've seen it on every single smartphone I've ever had, HTC devices, Motorola, Samsung, etc. I even recall my old Microtac getting warm on the battery during a call. Seems to be the nature of the beast, all that technology in such a small compartment. Never happened with these (hey, I'm old ): Spoiler
S-Pen is the X factor, IMO. All of the competitor phones can go big, but to have an integrated digitizer stylus. Can't beat that. Doesn't matter though because the Note 2 might be my last Samsung phone if it's true that they're moving away from Android.
