I am new to android, androidforums, htc, rooting, and a lot of other uncharted waters. I have had my htc hero for around a month now and I want more than anything to get rid of the sprint apps on the phone. Secondly I want to be able to tether to my laptop. I have read/watched many instructional threads and videos, and decided to follow "the unlockr" to a t. Now that it says it done, I take a look at my phone and try to start and uninstall some apps, and they say they are unsuccessful. Did I do something wrong, or do I need some kind of download in order to do what I need.
Also, Is there any good contact programs out there? I don't care much for this smart dial stuff.
