    A battery leak that is!!!

    Example...

I left my place with a Full 100% battery at 9:30 pm this evening, now at 11:15 pm I am down to 70% with hardly any use. Maybe 2 text messages, a 10 min phone call, and a quick look or two at Phandroid! To me it seems crazy for the phone to drop 30% in such a short period of time, especially with such minor use.

    Some stats..

    Brightness - 50%
    No wallpaper- completely black
    Beautiful Widgets updates every 8hrs
    GPS off
    4G on
No active sync turned on for any apps.

I just don't see this as being normal! If it is, this really stinks!

Check your battery usage. Go to the battery info in about phone, then there should be a list of the top apps' battery usage there. Post a screen shot or transcribe the top apps and their percentages.

I've noticed the phandroid app sucks major battery. I even turned off the auto news sync, private message notifications, etc and it still seems to eat through battery. So much so that I uninstalled it :(

But without seeing the apps' usage info, it's hard to say what's consuming your battery.

    Here's an example...

    Phone was on 92%...
Just watched a 15min You Tube Video, and now the phone is down to 69%

    That seems crazy to me...

i noticed yesterday the Phandroid app likes to linger.....actually i think i remember realizing this on my DX and that is why i uninstalled it...which is what i'm about to do now on my G Nex because this just reminded me to.

  5. Youtube kills the battery crazy fast. That isn't really anything out of the norm for a 15 minute streaming youtube video.
