I tried entering recovery mode by pressing "Power+HOme+Volume down"
The phone turned on and ERASED everything on it
    It reset everything on it

I believe you just hold down volume button and power, not the home button too.

Also, what method did you use to root? The recovery might not have been flashed properly.

I've never seen this before. The phone shouldnt wipe everything without asking you at least 2 times. Can you provide more details? Like what happened on the screen when this happened? Why were you trying to enter recovery? Which recovery did you have flashed?

Same happened here. I held down the same buttons and then a screen showing some kind of box with an arrow pointing out and a loading bar at the bottom. When it started back up everything was deleted. Please it still has all my data on my SD card but it won't read it I guess.
