An 'ICE' one - but not one that allows access to the dialer. Simply a button on the unlock pattern screen which when someone presses it, gives basic health information/stats [like blood type, and a paragraph of known health issue or something]. So that nothing unlocks, people don't need to unlock it, so doesn't require knowledge of the pattern. Doesn't allow access to the dialer. Simply a 'if I can't talk I can poke and show you' button.

I like this idea. Perhaps stick it in the App suggestions forum?

That the same as the android applications one, or there a separate suggestions one? I'll chuck it across, regardless. :)

Its does exist, i have seen it recently while searching for other medical apps but i currently cant remember the name. Sadly it was a paid app and that's why i didn't install it.

Nice idea but I prefer a hardcopy solution (dog tags, medi bracelet etc.) :)

If i've got so bad that i can not communicate myself I doubt my phone would have survived the experience

I'm thinking a more the merrier approach. That, and when I had a TIA, I was able to use my other hand just fine - speech was more difficult. Being able to poke something which said: 'this is likely what's happening, get me to A&E and tell them about X' would be nice. :)
