Hi all ...Not to the missus lol. When I am on a call, if someone else rings, they do not get the engaged tone; I get the option to take the call and put the present call on hold. Is it possible to disable this feature? I just want the standard engaged tone. Cheers
Can't find anything specific, but try : Settings / Call / Call Forwarding Turn off "forward when busy" and see if that helps. Hippo
Im on an AOSP rom so my menus are different but in call settings>Aditional settings I have "call waiting" which is essentially the option you want.
agreed. menu > settings > call > additional settings > call waiting (during a call, notify me of incoming calls) in theory, if you disable this option, it shouldn't notify you.
Actually i believe this is exactly what the op is looking for. Turning off "forward when busy" will give the 2nd incoming caller a busy tone. Call waiting option will only turn off the notification
You can't see or hear, but right now I'm sucking my teeth at you Shaniqua! @ Sunnyb, If call waiting is enabled, it doesn't matter if foward when busy i disabled. It gives the phone 2 lines and if the phone is being used, with call waiting - the 2nd caller will get ring back in their ear. I believe you would actually need to disable both call forward AND call waiting because call waiting is not busy. It will ring for the normal period then divert on no answer.
