I want to format my phone and sd card. How do I save my legacy apps

As the title says, I want to wipe my phone and start over. However, I have a few good legacy apps. For example, I have the version of "Shazam" that lets me sample unlimited songs and the NFL app that lets me watch the Sunday "Redzone".

Can I easily back these original apps up so that I don't have to download the updated limited versions of these and other apps? I want to keep my old versions.

Not sure if it is the apps or the apk.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's the phone or your google acct. All I can say is that from my experience, being rooted and a self-described flashaholic, I have yet to lose any data linked to paid or "legacy" apps. Wouldn't hurt to back-up just in case though. Astro has a back-up tool, which works easily and well for non-rooted devices (and it's free).

Back-up apps, format phone and sd, then reinstall via the market and you should be fine. If not, you always have the back-up that you can reinstall.
