I am used to doing my music and playlists through Itunes. Now that I have my EVO, I would like to use my EVO as my music player instead of carrying my phone and iPOD everywhere.

Please help me and suggest the proper apps to use to allow me to create and save playlists as well as a good music player.

    Thank you,
    Whiteice

I would highly recommend power amp for your music player. On top of having an EQ, it has playlists.

My wife refuses to give up iTunes and has found iSyncr to be a very helpful way to sync her playlists, etc.

    Maybe it's the file type?

I do know that if the song is DRM protected, it won't play on the EVO. That's why I still use my iPod touch for my music and videos. I know there are programs you can get that'll remove the DRM protection, but I don't want to go through all that.

I don't know why anyone would saddle them selfs with Itunes.

FWIW, Poweramp is pretty nice but btunes looks almost exactly like the ipod interface,

bTunes is a good looking app. I bought that before PowerAmp was out. I gotta go with PowerAmp though, that EQ sounds so good!
