I was given international phone to use in states

I was given a Samsung S2 that was bought in Korea. But when I put my Tmobile sim card, the phone still thinks its roaming. I can receive texts but can't send them.

Is there anyway to change this? Does my carrier thinks its an international call? Please help this noob

Thanks!!!

You'll need to go into wireless and networks and change the network to T-Mobile. Also, ensure that you put in the T-Mobile APN settings. Best way to do this is to head over to the forums of any popular Android phone for T-Mobile and kindly ask someone to get you the APN settings from their phone. A quick Google search for their APN settings got me mostly hits for T-Mobile UK.
