I went to best buy today and preordered my white EVO 4g, I honestly cannot wait, I am coming from the Hero community and absolutely loved that little beast of a phone.:D

Quick question so this thread has some relevance, is froyo hacked yet and what does the EVO 4g white ship with?

froyo is not hacked yet, no rooting
white evo comes with the same stuff the black one does; cable, charger, and manual

It might come with 2.1, in which case you could root it. Just don't accept any OTA updates, get a rooted version of 2.2. The service rep might update it though. Good luck!
