    Morning guys.

Anyway i have a Galaxy I5700 from Three.co.uk. i recently unlocked the phone too.

last week i rooted the phone with leshaks tutorial at Root Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 With LeshaK’s Kernel

after a few days i decided to put the phone back to normal as the 2.2 update is coming in november, so i downloaded the firmware from http://www.samfirmware.com/WEBPROTECT-i5700.htm, i took the EXXJH6 firmware. I flashed the firmware on and it worked fine except it was dutch, so i changed the language and plugged the phone to kies to see if their are any updates. kiesw now says this phone cannot be updated.

Is this because the phone needs a specific firmware from three. is the firmware from a dutch phone and since im in the uk it wont update.

    Any help appreciated

Its probably because of the modded kernel that you using.
