    I have a i5700 galaxy spica
    baseband i570exxjc1
    kernel 2.6.29 root@se-s611#2
    eclair.xxjcf

    Im gonna root it tonight.
Problem is that a lot of games dont work.
    raging thunder 3-4 fps
    homerun battle does not start
and none of the 3d games seem to work.
i use task manager and i always have 70 mb of ram free..
and cpu menchmark tells me that the cpu is at 199 mhz?
what's the problem? If i root things will run better?
Im rooting to use set cpu,im thinking that the problem is from the cpu, although the eclair is running verry smooth...

This might be a hardware limitation of the phone for the more memory-intensive tasks like games. On 1.5 applications like facebook, twidroid etc. work flawlessly with the data rate as transfer. Something like paper toss lags down a bit though.

Yeah,i heard somewhere that it has no 3d hardware or something like thhat... I7500 has hardware 3d acceleration and the games run flawless, although the slower cpu...
I dont want to sell the phone because it has good music quality thru headphones...
    i'm going for the magic,or maybe,the i7500,
    very very dissapointed

Maybe you can try the new JD1 firmware.

They have update graphics driver and maybe there will be some improvement,
although as it was said before, Spica does not have hardware acceleration so
you cannot expect a big difference.
