That 2gb, 8gb, 16gb, is just whatever microSD card is pre-installed. I'm more likely to get rid of whatever they install and replace it with my own class 6 card for the speed.

The linked posts refer to this has having AMOLED display, instead of Super AMOLED. Maybe it's just not quoted right. But I'll pass if it is not the same display as the Galaxy S. That display is the only factor that would have me consider other than an HTC.

Hrm... that last image w/the Korean text was added after I'd found that story this morning. No idea if they're from the same source but it's odd that the photo was added later... It does show the AT&T maps app, though... weird.

I doubt Samsung who is incredibly vertically integrated will use a Qualcomm CPU in one of their premiere phones.

i897 in the wild! Could be launched as Google experience phone...
This version looks more "blacked out" than the other Galaxy S models I seen so far. Maybe it's just the lighting, but I like it. :D

With a little research anyone can tell that the galaxy S wont have snap dragon, it will cost samsung more money to use a SLOWER and MORE POWER HUNGRY cpu, they already have cheaper and faster in-house CPU. switching to snapdragon would cripple the galaxy S and cost samsung a LOT of money.

Look don't shoot the Messenger i am quoting what the sites have been saying about this phone "i897", Correct they probably have got it wrong.

The Galaxy S i am getting in a few weeks deffently has a Hummingbird .

How comes they could'nt of taken better photos than that there too dark and horrible.

Thank goodness we can put this thread to rest. It was clear from the beginning that that i897 is/was NOT the Galaxy S.

Why do you say that? Because AT&T may have chosen to call it something else?

Did you look at the pictures of the phone? Nothing looks like a galaxy s. The specs, including the CPU are different. This is not the same phone.

Right. & I went back & compared the photos posted @ AndroidGuys (above), to the hands-on videos flooding YouTube.... The power button on the side is the same, the volume rocker on the other side is the same, & the 3.5mm jack & micro USB on top are also the same.
