After i went from GB to ICS 4.0.3 the option to freeze some apps completely has raised the question to many.

Anyone got a list or know some apps which will defiantly speed up the SGS2, for example the Samsung hubs, which we all know are worthless & like the social hub which constantly runs in the background.

Ill try to keep this updated & re-post the first post with answers by the forum community to make finding the answers easier for everyone.

I removed all of the hub apps, AP News, Accuweather and News Reader. I froze the Wi-Fi sharing apps. I also froze Voice Command as I don't use it.

    hi

is there an easy way to just disable the app i.e play movies, on mine. it keeps saying there is an update for it but i don't use it.

i'm not too fussed on rooting it. i created a folder and called it bloatware, i have 27 items in it!
