Icon Size?

If I were going to make icons for this phone, what size would I make them? I am going for the just text look (I do not like any of the icons out there). I did some research, and it looks like 76x76 is good for our screens, but I think it looks a bit small still. So..any suggestions?

I've made them 75 x 75 and that seems to fit great on mine

How about the font size? Is there any way to change the font size for the whole phone?

You can change the font size with the spare parts app that comes on most custom ROMS. There's 7 different size options with it. Not sure if its on the market but I'm sure some searching would turn it up.

Just looked on the market and it's there. Doesn't seem to need to be rooted either.

I tried spare parts and it changed the font size in the spare parts appliction but not on the phone.
