Hello! Today I got a text from my dad from his iPhone and he had included some emojis in his message. That's what Apple calls the pre-loaded icons/smilies you can add to a text message. I didn't used to see anything when he did that but since my phone updated last week (Galaxy SIII) I all of a sudden could see the pics today. They don't look like they would look on the iPhone but there they were: a smiley face, a thumbs up, an OK finger symbol and hands clapping.

How can I reproduce these images and use them in my text messages in the future? Is there a new icon pack I'm not aware of? HELP!!!! TIA

    Welcome to AF, beattysgirl. :)
When composing a text hit Menu > Insert Smiley. You should now get a list of emoticons. :)

I sure do wish that was the answer. I attached a screen shot of what the pics look like. Nothing else on my Samsung Galaxy SIII looks like this and I can not find anywhere in my phone where I can just add these in.

They don't, but appear similarly when received as a text. Select one and then send it, it will appear like it looks like to the left.

If I am not mistaken I think Go Keyboard may have the hands.

I downloaded Go and while I can send the emojis I can not see them. My bro who has an iphone can see them and send them to me (I see them when he sends them to me) but I don't see them when I send them although he can. FRUSTRATING!

I believe that's how it works. If you can send the emoticons and they can then it works. You want to be able to see them too? You can try this and see, but other than that I'm afraid I don't know. Go SMS Emoji Plug-in
    Hope this helps. :)

You need to be using Go SMS as your SMS app, along with the emoji plugin so you can see iPhone emoji,
