Yeah, that's a big one to a lot of people, doesn't bother me personally. There are apps in the Play Store that can fix that, although all require the "Pro" (ie. paid) version. Someone else will have to comment on which ones work best, I don't use one.

Really think Google dropped the ball with getting rid of this feature.

Audio Control is the best I have found. I set timed profiles and it shuts off notifications after 11pm and turns them on at 6am. Ringer is always on.

Can Audio Control function based on locations, as well as timing? That's the big plus that Llama has (or had...), for me.

Hey, is flash broken for anyone else? Since the ICS update, I keep getting the blue question mark lego on everything. Also, the .SWF progame i use to run .SWFs with doesnt work anymore. And new .SWF apps also dont work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you installed the RUU you lost Flash and will have to manually add it back in (side load the APK directly from a third party like iAPKTOP or something), if you did the OTA update you should still have Flash Player. That being said, the stock browser and Chrome do not support flash anymore, you will need to switch to Dolphin, Maxthon, Opera, or something else to get it to work.

I had two of several on my phone prior to ICS. One is HTC's version and another is androids. Some may be leftover as I have two verizon backups and one is the old version, the other is a higher update # and the is the one working.

I know verizon is just tryng to prevent anyone from doing it but I was told they are system apps and cannot be disabled or it could brick it. Some of their apps such as blockbuster, surf and the two games caused the white screen that looks like a reboot but isnt. The android version of facebook after disable and force stop keeps starting up after a few days but no data is shown as being collected as well.

Except for the Facebook thing (because I use it daily), I can tell you the rest is false... I have had all Verizon apps (Except My Verizon), including Blockbuster, games, NFL, and most others disabled since day one of ICS and have never seen the "white" screen. The White Screen that looks like a reboot but isn't is Sense (or more accurately, Rosie, the HTC Sense's Launcher) restarting, it can be caused by misbehaved apps, certains settings in the Developers Options menu, and some unusual memory conditions in the device. I have never had this occur except when turning on "Don't keep activities" in the Developer's menu, and that is how it functions by essentially flushing memory after every application is exited, this causing a Launcher restart.

I never dug into the dev part in phone. Its just been after disabling apps. I know Verizon was blowing smoke and will chance it later today and see how it goes. The only Verizon app thats in my install page after the reset is the navigator. twitter and tweets etc can be disabled right? So maybe it was a sense or HTC app that caused it if it flushes when disabled. Doesnt happen often enough for me to worry yet but thanks again for the help. I think you've helped on another site with an issue I had. Much appreciated

I am not sure I understood all that, but generally any with Verizon app that doesn't have "com.xxxx" in the name can be disabled, and duplicate zero size app can be disabled. Do not disable anything with "com.xxx" in the name oranything that says "provider" in the name. Generally, unless you are sure it is safe to disable, don't disable it, a lot of things are used by other apps or are underlying processes for apps that you don't realize. There is a list of apps that is safe to disable, can't remember which forum it was on but if I run across it today I will link it here.

Also, re-enabling apps can be a troublesome thing too, I have found the best way to re-enable an app is to Enable in the app settings, then don't run it yet, power off, pull the battery/reinstall, then power up, once the phone is back up it go ahead and run the app. Just enabling and running without a reboot has caused me weird issues before.

Sorry about my wording. I haven't slept in 3 days and my thoughts don't type what they say in my head lol. I just want to get rid of the basic Verizon owned apps and the 3rd party apps they provide like the video surf, NFL and Blockbuster. They aren't even in business here anymore lol. Also the twitter app and its other app tweet or something I think. I don't go into the ones that look more like files or like the ones you describe with the .com in the name. I have seen the list of Google system apps and I believe the one your talking about. Its a long list but I think it was for rooted phones but may be wrong. Again thanks for the help and fast responses. Oh, do u know if the bar code scanner is any good they have preinstalled or who makes it? HTC doesn't even know

Basically, as long as it isn't HTC or Google, it is relatively safe to disable... Best bet is to disable the obvious ones and leave the rest, disabling most of the rest of the stuff doesn't gain you much, it doesn't give you more storage space or anything like that. I also recommend not disabling tons of apps at the same time, maybe just 3 or 4 at a time, until you know there are no issues. Note that if you get too aggressive and disable the wrong thing, it won't "brick" your phone, but might put it into a state where it won't boot, and the worst that can happen is you have to factory reset in hboot.

As far as the default Scan app, I have never used it, I always use Barcode Scanner or ShoSavvy. Barcode Scanner is the defacto standard for Android scanners though.

I have a barcode scanner on my rezound called "Scan" by Mobiletag. I think that's the default scanner.

Btw, how do you all like the official ICS so far? Any pros/cons lately?

I finally upgraded to the OTA ICS Sense 3.6 and overall I like it. I'm surprised by how much smoother it is and I like that! The scrolling is smoother in some places such as the internet and google play, though in others such as the apps settings area it's rough.

So far the 4GLTE is much more stable than what it was before I upgraded. I haven't had any connection issues and the browser is working faster.

I haven't noticed any major problems so far. I did notice the sound profiles change where the notification and ringer have the same volume setting. I'm trying to figure out how to change that. Audio Control lite didn't allow me to do that as the two settings were connected somehow.

Anyways I like it, though I think I will be rooting soon to an AOSP ICS or even Jelly Bean once they tweak most if not all of the bugs out. I'm looking for a much more smoother experience with the AOSP look similar to the Galaxy Nexus.

I really loved the ota myself. I fell in love with my Rezound all over again. I would have kept it my full contact but I got lucky with a free Droid DNA :)

Glad you are loving it still! :)
