I have more info but I'm not going to post it because I can't confirm it and I really am not going to get into more arguments with people. Suffice it to say that 246 is going OTA tomorrow according to VZW themselves. What the future holds will be seen at some point. Punit Soni hinted at it earlier today that Bionic users will want to keep an eye on future update plans.

But if it turns out .246 isn't .246 that's just going to be really weird. However this ends I've been on ICS for four months, learned a lot, and am still on the upgrade path, everyone should be happy Bionic gets the attention from the development community it does.

Well... if that's the case, someone owes my Magic 8 Ball a case of Coors Light. Lol. I'll be on the road in and out of service (over mountain passes) tomorrow, but will see what I see. Lol. Guess we all will.

I don't remember the last ota.... will it be a push to accept, or will a user have to manually "check for updates"?

Edit to add: defrosting my bloat. Just in case... lol

246 could be the approved release and 247 could be the next step to the next release. These things take months to iron out.

Ok folks, it was getting a tad heated there for a second. Can I ask that when posting you be mindful of our rules (handily linked in my sig).

There's a lot to read, but I can sum it up in one sentence: Attack issues, not other members.

Any issues with that, you're more than welcome to drop me a PM. :)

I do not believe this is real. People have verified that the phone is not enabled for global use on 246.This is either fabricated from a phone like the razr or inaccurate. Where did you find it?

Sorry to step in on this, but each version does have new features. With froyo, my bluetooth mouse didn't have a pointer or cursor, then came gingerbread and it was then my mouse had full functionality (On my droid x). When I loaded the ics leaks, I noticed small thing like spell check on my dolphin browser. I don't recall gingerbread having that. (My bionic)

I do agree though, it would be silly to hype over jellybean! lol
