    Take a look here

Nena Innovation AB - NenaMark results

    If the designation says:

SC- This is for Japan's Docomo
SGH-i This is for US AT&T
SGH-T This is for US T-Mobile
SCH-i This is for US Verizon
SPH-D This is for US Sprint
SHW-M This is for Korean telecoms, 3G
SHV-E This is for Korean telecoms, 4G

GT-i This is for generic, international versions.

The Rogers phones, or Canadian phones would fall under GT-i.

If the GPU says MALI-400 on the right, the chip is Exynos. This chip however, cannot support LTE and 42mbs HSPA+. Only 21Mbs HSPA+ and WiMax.

If the GPU says Adreno 220, then the chip is the Qualcomm 8660, and this is used to power the LTE and 42Mbs HSPA+ phones.

    SGH-i777 is the AT&T Galaxy S2
SGH-i727 is the AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket with LTE
    SGH-T989 is the T-Mobile Hercules
SPH-D710 is the Sprint Epic Touch 4G
SCH-R760 is the US Cellular variant
    SHW-M250K is Korea Telecom SGS2.
    SHW-M250L is LG Telecom SGS2.
SC-03D is the Japan NTT Docomo LTE SGS2.

The generic names for Galaxy S2 is GT-i9100
If you add letter after 9100, then those are regional versions, like GT-i9100T.

Galaxy Nexus is GT-i9250 for GSM model. SCH-i515 for Verizon model.

GT-i9210 here is the most likely phone for the Rogers LTE Galaxy S2.

    Additional Info:

    GT-N is Galaxy Note
    GT-P is the Galaxy Tabs

GT-i9103 is the Galaxy R or Galaxy Z with the Tegra 2. The -3 here represents the phone having SLCD screen instead of Super AMOLED Plus.

GT-i9100G is a model of Galaxy S2 sold in some countries but is powered by the OMAP 4460 chip (same as the Galaxy Nexus) instead of Exynos.

  6. Welcome to the forums, Joey.

I don't know if you got ripped off either, but T-Mobile used to be the SGH-T989 carrier.
