Help if a certain Blackberry feature available in Android

In Blackberry I can set the SMS ringtone for individual Contacts but I cannot find this feature in any Android phone, so my question is that does any Android phone natively support this feature out of the Box i.e. facility to set specific ringtone for SMS for individual Contact?

Please don't suggest me to install any Android application.

I am asking this cause I want to completely shift to Android and don't want to use two cell phones anymore.

This might be a phone dependent feature I think, if you seem to be not able to find it. Not all manufacturers may have it. I can vouch that Samsungs have it though. I just go into Contacts and open the contact I want to change the ringtone for. There is a button there that says ringtone - default. I just tap on that and choose the ringtone I want. There is another one labeled notifications, which is for sms notifications from that person.

If your phone doesn't have it out of the box you can just use a different sms app. I just had a look at Chomp and Textra (both from same developer as it happens) and in both cases if I gave a long press on a conversation that gave me an option to set a custom notification for that person (precise interface different in the 2 cases).
