If I am using LP, still get 2.2 OTA?

Just wanted to make sure I would still get notified OTA of the 2.2 update even using LP and not Sense. I am guessing I should.

The 20+ other posts about this all suggest yes, you should. Given the auctual release should be a lil higher number to account for the people who were supposed to have this update, and for everyone they know it went to, wether it should of or not.

We don't know what the software number will be.

It could be the same and they could simply change the _build number_ - - that's a perfectly common process for a lot of companies.

Both ways are perfectly acceptable.

Not sure what exactly you're getting at here but, either way, regardless, the phone wont be seen as "up to date", therefor updating to the official release as I was saying? No? lol

Well, it was clear to ME! :rotf:

All I meant was - if we have some update next week, the number may stay the same and they'll just change the build number.

Or - they'll change the number

We'll know when we know.

Everyone's assuming they'll change the software number - we do NOT know that.

That's all I meant, as you used the phrase "software number" in your earlier post.

Whether you are running LP or Sense should not make one difference in the world in regards to receiving the update.........

Not sure what all the other posts are even referencing....Maybe they didn't understand the question correctly?
