    Hi,

I'm having button issues with my HTC Desire, and I'm considering factory resetting it, however, my phone came with a 3 ROM built in, and I put a Vodafone ROM on there. So if I factory reset it, will it go back to the 3 ROM therefore removing my custom Vodafone ROM?

    Thanks in advance...:)

No, it'll just wipe all the extraneous data.

"extraneous data" being all of your user apps and data, as well as settings ;)

When you loaded the Voda ROM you completely overwrote what was on there previously. Likewise when we flash custom ROMs that replaces the earlier software. So there is no 3 ROM on your phone for it to revert to.
