IF leakers get the official 2.1,

    Will you update, or stay with the leak you have?
    Personally, I don't think I will update just because of the fact that I'm hearing people say that its not very good. Unless it gets rooted soon lol. :D

    It is worth it to get OTA because root is out..

    OTA was an update, HBoot didn't change. So the 1.5 root method will work for the 2.1 OTA

    We would be forced to update OTA if we get the message. Just ask Frisco, we all know how upset he was ha.

    is it better to update to ota and then root?
    or do you end up in the same place either way...

    I was advised that OTA won't make the 2.1 leak installs rootable. However, I also heard that the OTA for leakers wasn't released until today (no manual installs) so we will know more once some 2.1 leak users start receiving the OTA. If the OTA replaces the boot loader, there might be a chance.
