Hey I am just wondering if I listen to music on my new HTC thunderbolt will it use data since verizons standard data is 2gb per month or is it not data use when you are listening to music. And if I am using an app such as MP3 music download pro does that use alot of data if i download music from it onto my phone.

Well it depends if the music is on your SD or if youre streaming it over the internet.

Data is any download. Upload, stream. Even loading a web page uses data as to display the page means sending It's information to your device, I.e - you download it.

Depending on the music app you use. Even listening to music on your SD could use data if you have it set to download album art or check online for meta data.

    It's common sense really
