So I just got my droid flashed to metro pcs yesterday (8/4/10) its cool, but the internet feature does not work, He tried to charge me $100 I ended up paying $75 My device has been rooted to 2.1, how can I get to enjoy the phone in all its glory?? Help!

Sorry to say this, but you may never be able to have wireless on the phone. Metro PCS uses the 1900 MHz wireless band, while Verizon uses the 2000 MHz band.

Thanks for the response but i'm confused now, is it that my device was one of those special ones that faithfully fell into my hands? I've seen postings and youtube videos where lots of people was able to get everything working...
