    Greetings everyone,

Thinking of finally taking the plunge and rooting using the one click method here Universal 1 Click Eris Root App Apk - No PCs, No Scripts Needed, EASY - xda-developers. Now the question is, what should I pick. Should I go with Froyo, or another 2.1 build? I want to be able to install to the SD card and run from there, and have no lag, and an overall better phone. BTW, I need something good in order to convince my wife that rooting isn't a bad idea.

    Thanks All!!

Because of this, I'd recommend either Plain Jane or xtrSense, because they both use HTC Sense, and I think you would want yours post-rooting to look as close as possible like hers pre-rooting. That way you can say "It looks and acts just the same, but this way you can do more with it."
