    Who said that ;) :D

ETA; to be fair, out of 8 threads you've started, 5 (including this one) have received replies. Of the others 1 seemed to be a general moan, and the other 2, well the problems are a bit specific to you but I've popped and and answered them so you don't feel lonely* :D

    HTH

    * answers may be totally worthless, but hey-ho...

ETA2: all done. Would you like a hug as well :p

Also "Beep", "phone address book" and "outlook" don't really do a good job of briefly outlining your issues.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I tend to avoid threads that don't tell me what to expect within them because I don't want to waste my time looking at something that could quite easily bore me. If it's an intriguing issue, or well phrased question clarified by the title, I may just look.

For example, "Beep" if it was "Set Missed call reminder beep?" I may have thought "lets have a look in settings"...."its not there, it should be"... "what the heck?..." and then try to solve it.

As it is, I word -associate (or onomatopoeia associate), turn it into "meep" think about road runner,... Think about chicken, think about lunch then take a break from the screen.#

Eu falo poco Portugues. Chega de ser polido.

I really wish I could speak more. Done CDs, classes but it just doesn't sink in. If there was a magic wand I would buy it. I have stacks of Portugues friends who humour me. I am sure that I say amusing/rude things by accident.
For instance if you have builders in never offer them a brush to tidy up. Plus never offer to sit in the corner.
Spellings different, but pronunciation is the same. Voce Compreende ?

    Age I guess.

I have a CD/Book combination. I picked some up when I was there for Christmas, year before last but the book, I got as far as meet and greet,

I really feel I should learn as My father's family are all Portuguese.

    Escova? or Vassoura?

Neither of those, I think. Not sure how it is spelt. Just how it sounds. Just don't offer to give anyone one of these. But there again try it !!!

If you get chance learn the language. Massive developing markets world wide that have Portugues as their first language. Plus its warmer over here and the people are great.
A flyer. Do you live in the north of england ? West of the penines ? Just a hunch.

One other thing. If i have a phone problem could I email you directly ?

I'm East of the pennines. Leeds. I have familiy in Portugal, so I probably could even muster up somewhere to stay. I would love to move there. It's just the money aspect. Its quite a poor country at the moment. Once of my cousins was top of his field in graphic design and earned 1000 euros a month. He moved here and I bet he must be at least doubling that.

The only way I can envisage moving there would be with an internet business and unfortunately right now, I feel it has all been done.

I think its best to keep your issues here as I don't know everything and it just wastes time if we dont get anywhere.

However, I'm here everyday so feel free to alert me via pm (or even e-mail) to your threads and I will see what I can do ;)
