Hello, my name is Joe Maples. I have recently rooted my Droid X. I was wondering if anyone could help me out and let me know what the new capabilities of my rooted phone are. Are there any aps that I have to get now that my phone is rooted? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just went to the link you posted. None of that stuff made any sense to me. I dont know anything about this stuff. It was like I was reading greek. What is a gingerbread or a Rom? i just want to do cool stuff with my phone. Any tips?

Gingerbread is simply the newest version of the Android OS released by Google. Each version is named after a sweet treat. 2.1 was Eclair, 2.2 was FroYo (Frozen Yogurt), 2.3 is Gingerbread, and 3.0 is Honeycomb.
