Images Gone after Xperia Arc S ICS update!

Today I updated my Xperia Arc S to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. When I updated it I discovered that all my pictures were gone from my external SD card. I checked to see if it was mounted- and it was. However, my music and playlists are still there.

How can I recover my pictures?
