My contacts for some reason show up in my phone book as 044 and for some reason wont call them (just a long tone)... but I then go to edit it to change it to normal number and it is already saved as 07...

The only way I've figured out to get by this is to go into my messages (so have to have text them first), find them in there and long-press the contact and call, as when texting it gives me both options for the number.

I have spent hours and hours of surfing and looking through the phone for a solution but nothing.

Please help and possible solution because this is getting really irritating because aside from this minor flaw (and still waiting on Orange to send the updates for the other little things) this is a brilliant phone

ah yes that might be something to do with it, most of them i have saved in my phone as well though but the numbers probably are imported from Facebook too. Suppose there's not a lot that can be done about that seeing as Facebook is an American site and it's just trying to correct it?

The only way i have found to fix this is to do the following (A bit long winded i know)

    ---------------------------

    Click on Phone

Find a contact with a incorrect number (as mentioned starts 44)
    Long press on the contact
    Then click View contact
    Scroll down and press edit
Change the mobile (This should have the proper contact number in it) to another option (Fax for example)
    Click Save
Long press on the changed option above(Fax) and select "Set as primary number"
    Select edit again
Change the Fax option back to mobile and click save.
This will make the proper number the default again rather than the facebook number.
