Help Imported pictures

I have a problem in the gallery, i imported some pictures from my camera and forgets to transfer them to the gallery folder for some time them i imported a new pictures recently and face a problem that some of the new imported pictures took the same name of the old one and both comes in top of each others, now if i open the picture from the gallery folder it shows one picture and while clicking on it shows another picture, please help me on sorting out this issue
