Can it be done? my Motorola droid broke a few days ago and it it turns on and can function fine, but the bottom half is not hard attached to the top half. Just the media cable holds it. So long story short I ended up with an ally and all i need to know is i have sms messages on the moto i want to transfer. There has to be an app that can do. please help thanks.

Thanks man, sweets words of advise. but just for anyone else that is searching for the same thing i have found the answer yes you can and its easy. the program sms backup+ is what i used. I just backed up with wifi on my old droid and then logged in with the new ally and bam they all transfered and they did it correctly
