Increase the size of the staus line Android

Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the size of the line at the top of your phone. This usually shows Battery Strength, Time, 3G....

Different ROMs and launchers address that. I don't know about a stock setting in any Android device to change the notification bar ("status bar," etc) size, other then some allowing for its removal ("show-don't show") and dragging down for full view of notifications.
