Let me start by saying that I owned an Incredible and it had awful phone signal which was the only reason I ditched it. I have been offered either one of these phones and the only thing scaring me away from the Inc 2 is the phone signal. Is it a real issue in this phone too or are people hyping it too much? Does it just depend upon the phone you received or are people saying they have a good signal because they live under 3 cell towers?

I've had both. Phone signal on Inc 2 is bad....but smartphone features are the best. Fascinate is a better Phone but the smartphone is glitchy. Signal on the Fascinate is better but overall I still like the Incredible 2 better.

Signal on my inc 2 is pretty damn good! My buddy has the Fascinate and it cannot even compare to my inc 2. and now since i have rooted it and done a few things he is jealous LOL. Do not get me wrong, the Fascinate is a bad ass phone but its not on the same smartphone level as the inc 2 IMO

Definitely the Inc2. My wife has the Dinc2 and loves it. She's very picky too. Very good battery life, great features, decent call quality, and above average signal strength. I think the Dinc2 beats out the fascinate in all aspects.

I think your signal strength will depend on a lot of factors. And don't just go by "bars" which are a graphical misrepresentation of the actual signal strength. You can look in your settings for a db figure for signal strength or you can just see if it drops calls or not.
I love my DInc2 and wouldn't trade it for any phone on the market now.
Hope you like your choice as much. :)

    I agree.
My friends who own iPhones are jealous about how much cool stuff you can do on Android. And my friends on BlackBerry want an Android now. :D

I had the fascinate for 11 months and loved it, except it was kinda buggy. So I got the Dinc2 AND I LOVE IT MORE. AWESOME PHONE. The signal is better in my opinion, faster, not buggy, SO GLAD I SWITCHED. For me Dinc2 is better. Good luck.

Yeah, DINC2 all the way. I came from a Fascinate to the DINC2 & don't regret it a bit. The ONLY thing I'd give the Fascinate as the winner, is the screen. Samsung has beautiful screens. The DINC2 wins with everything else. :)

no comparison, dinc2 for sure, lol.

Touchwiz (samsungs UI) is very buggy and constantly having issues. Not saying that Sense (HTC) is perfect, but its way less buggy. Also, HTC does update their phones regularly, especially the inc2. However, samsung...well yeah...not so much.
